The 2008 HPS Midyear Topical Meeting "Radiation-Generating Devices" will be held at the Oakland Marriott Convention Center January 27-30, 2008 (Sunday-Wednesday, sessions start on Monday).

It is co-hosted by the Health Physics Society Northern California Chapter and Accelerator Section. The Professional Development School (formerly the summer school) will be held at the same location--the Oakland Marriott Convention Center--from January 31 to February 2, 2008 (Thursday through Saturday), immediately following the 2008 midyear meeting.
