- March 8, 2008: One day Science Teacher Workshop was hosted for the third time by the Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) in Lynchburg, VA. The topic was "Understanding Nuclear Radiation" and the event was sponsored by the Virginia Chapter of the Health Physics Society, the Virginia Section of the American Nuclear Society, and the North American Young Generation in Nuclear.
