"The Awards Committee shall consist of the previous five Past-presidents. If a Past-president is not available, his or her place shall be taken by a long term member of the NCCHPS. A long term member of the NCCHPS is defined as an individual who has been active in the NCCHPS for at least ten consecutive years. The immediate past president shall serve as the Chairperson."

Burton J. Moyer Memorial Fellowship Steering Committee
"The Burton J. Moyer Memorial Fellowship Steering Committee shall consist of a Chairperson and at least 2 Members. Under the supervision of the NCCHPS Board of Directors, the Committee is responsible for all activities relating to the Burton J. Moyer Memorial Fellowship Fund, hereinafter referred to as the BJMF Fund, including fund raising, announcements, selection of nominees to the BJMF Fund Advisory Board, and any other activities authorized by the NCCHPS Board of Directors. The BJMF Fund shall be administered in accordance with Article IX
Section 5 of these Bylaws."

Burton J. Moyer Fellowship (BJMF) Selection Committee
"The Burton J. Moyer Fellowshsip (BJMF) Selection Committee consists of the Manpower and Education Committee of the HPS and a Member from the NCCHPS, a Chairperson and at least 2 members. This committee reviews all applications for the Burton J. Moyer Fellowship and recommends suitable candidates for fellowships to the NCCHPS Board of Directors. The Selection Committee shall be responsible for the development of selection criteria subject to review and approval by the NCCHPS Board."

"Article V, "Meetings of Members," Section 11, "Election and Balloting Procedures,"(b):
Nominations for all elective positions shall be made by a Nominating Committee consisting of a Chairperson and at least two other Members appointed by the President with the approval of the Board of Directors. No Member of the Board of Directors Executive Committee shall be eligible to serve on the Nominating Committee. Three Members of the Nominating Committee shall constitute a quorum, and all decisions of the Nominating Committee shall require approval of at least three members of that Committee."
