Good news or bad, it really doesn't matter when it comes to feedback on this newsletter. I'm always grateful when I get a note back from a newsletter reader, whether it's from someone saying they enjoyed the latest issue or (heaven forbid!) they found an error. Either way, I'm glad to know that the newsletter is reaching its intended audience.
This quarter, the feedback brought very good news. In January, I received a note from Yuri Franken, editor of the Journal of the Dutch Radiation Protection Society (in Dutch, the NVS Nieuws). On the lookout for items for his journal, he came across the transcript of Ralph Thomas' Morgan Lecture on the Accelerator Section's website. He was interested in publishing the lecture in installments in the NVS Nieuws. I put him in touch with Dr. Thomas and the end result is that the first installment of the lecture will be published in June in NVS Nieuws. I always brag that this newsletter serves an international audience; if I needed any proof, this was it!
In case you missed Dr. Thomas' lecture, please check out the website. And if you have any comments or complaints, good news or bad, please let me know! I'm always glad to hear from you.
