The Columbia Chapter of the Health Physics Society is proud to announce a scholarship award of $1,000 to a student in a health physics-related career path which includes, but is not limited to, field radiation protection; nuclear engineering; x-ray/nuclear medicine; or certified health physicist.

 

Scholarship Application Includes:

 

·         Your Name and Contact Information

 

 

·         The name of your CCHPS Sponsor

 

·         Letter of Recommendation from an active CCHPS member

 

·         A brief essay (about 1000 words) on “Health Physics as a Profession”

 

·         Letter of Recommendation from a math or science teacher/instructor

 

·         Transcript of grades (not necessarily a certified copy)

A complete application must be submitted by March 31 either electronically to sandra.mcinturff@pnl.gov or by mail to CCHPS Scholarship Application, PO Box 2215, Richland, WA  99352.
