How to get to The 2007 Annual HPS Meeting
Portland is accessible via Portland International Airport (PDX) through all airlines.
To get to the convention center and primary and overflow hotels for the meeting, its best to use the MAX, Portland's light rail system. Board the MAX Red Line to City Center & Beaverton TC. Get off at Lloyd Center/NE 11th Ave MAX Station Walk about 0.1 mile northwest to Doubletree - Lloyd Center (1000 NE Multnomah St). The trip will take about 30 minutes and cost about $2.00. You can also go by Taxi (about $20) and shuttle service (about $10), and of course, rental cars are available at the airport.
- If you are driving,
- From the North (on I-5):
- Take Rose Quarter-City center exit 302A. Take a left at the second light (Weidler). Go to 9th Avenue and take a right. Go to the second light and the hotel is on the left.
- From the South (on I-5):
- Take Rose Quarter-City center exit 302A. At the first light, take a right on Weidler. Go to 9th Avenue and take a right. Go to the second light and the hotel is on the left
